Shooting Star Lodge is located north of the village of Kiwengwa on the northeast coast of Zanzibar.
This pleasant small beach lodge is set in a commanding position on top of rise some 30m above a broad white-sand beach, with the best part of a kilometre from the nearest resort.
A low key reception area leads through to a lovely little bar and restaurant area, with a beautiful rimflow pool out front. Very pleasant suite rooms take the form of small towers with rooftop terraces, whilst simpler seaview and garden rooms occupy positions lower down the slope.
Shooting Star Lodge was one of the first small lodges to be established on the island we have been making bookings here since 2001.
